[20:45] <@BradGM> +++Location: Mockingbird Cell Quarters 524CFG-245.1, Tricorn, Hive Sibellus; Scintilla +++
[20:45] <@BradGM> +++2347Hours- Sibellus Time+++
[20:45] <@BradGM> +++ At the ‘lab’ Grendel spotted a smashed cog-engine being picked up by a Protectorate Veripex, unfortunately missing its machine memory. Mockingbird tried to weight in thier mocked authority as Arbites agents, but the Veripex proved a tough nut to crack and refused to cooperate.
[20:45] <@BradGM> . Even after convincing and showing their false-but-legitimate IDs, it took the confirmation of the enforcer escort to get him to step away, but not before taking note of the acolytes’ false identity. Meanwhile at the Arbites Archives, Jon studied the camera feed of the creature as it entered the Hotel, noticing a glitch the monster made in the recording.
[20:45] <@BradGM> As the sector is rather upscale and well under watch, he searched for similar glitch in the available recording, landing numerous results all over the Hive city, most interestingly near the Great Wall leading to the Underhive and near the now-dead Earnest Barg’s residence.
[20:45] <@BradGM> The giant Gloom Haunt’s movement passed as mere glitches in the shots, but having seen the creature in the flesh, the Justicar knew where to look; for months it has stalked across the Hive left and right, up and down in such a way that the Arbitrator could only concluded as a patrol pattern.
[20:45] <@BradGM> . Back at the Hellstrom, the cell moved outside in the dimmed lighting of the night cycle, Grendel spotting the reporter, Gravel, filming the scene, but the hack walked away as he spotted the Tech-Priest observing him.
[20:46] <@BradGM> . Mira sprung to chase the man into the ever-crowed streets, before tackling the limping journalist into a nightclub and cornering him in the back. She explained quite bluntly that his life was holding by a tread; his cooperation, imposed; his discretion, mandatory, his calling card now in the possession of the assassin, the cell returned to their quarters at the Tricorn to fix the broken cog-engine and get a report of Jon’s findings.+++
