Suddenly, the Human-sized gloom haunt produced a small version of his kin and threw it at the massed acolytes; it spurred out a gas of unknown origin, which caused Lyra to hallucinate daemon worms that tried to crawl up her leg.
[20:15] <@BradGM> While her companions tried to no avail to stop her from shooting herself with her plasmagun, the creature made a quick exit from the scene. Somehow, Grendel’s own implants suffered from a massive jamming pulse, resulting in the Tech-Priest losing control of all of his natural and implanted senses, but fortunately he managed to keep his balance in the rickety staircase.
[20:15] <@BradGM> Lyra shot her own leg, burning through the carapace material and part of her flesh before Jon grappled her, Lyra slowly regaining her wits, and feeling the sharp pain of her wound.

Somehow, Grendel’s own implants suffered from a massive jamming pulse, resulting in the Tech-Priest losing control of all of his natural and implanted senses, but fortunately he managed to keep his balance in the rickety staircase.
