[23:21] <BradGM> You peek your optical mecharendrite up the door and see a somewhat furnished room with a simple desk and leather chair, devoid of presence. The trap is a system of rope connected to a Blunterbuss set to fire at a certain point when the door is open.
[23:23] * @Grendel describes the system to Mira while looking for any occupants in the room, before extending his utility mechadendrite into the room to disable the trap.
[23:23] * Mira tries to picture it in her mind.
[23:23] <BradGM> You cut the rope disabling the simple, deadly trap with ease.
[23:24] * @Grendel looks around for any other traps, and if he doesn't see anything, tells Mira it is alright to procede.
[23:25] * Mira continues to open the door.
[23:26] <BradGM> You open the door to face the muzzle of a blunterbuss just out of the door's swing's reach.
[23:26] * Mira doesn't touch the gun, but ducks instinctively, not wanting to take a chance.
