The truck tried to leave, but a few precise bursts of lasfire made short work of first a tire, then the driver. At this time the Gloom Haunt struck, launching a small device on the truck, killing its engine, before striking on the criminals in the open, dangerously close to Jon.
[20:39] <@BradGM> Mira moved to the rooftop to cover from a higher vantage point, while Lyra and Grendel exited the surveillance truck and closed in on foot. Unknown to Mockingbird, Jon had a vox line to the Vigilante, feeding him tips and warnings of incoming blows and attack, either from the acolytes, or from himself. The Gloom Haunt used a human shield as he entered the restaurant with Jon in tow, as Grendel bursted through the front door and Lyra secured the delivery truck.
[20:39] <@BradGM> An hallucinogenic grenade was then deployed, heavily affecting Jaco Earl, who was in the process of having a fear-inducted hear attack, and his men with the cell being unaffected, thanks to natural resilience or Divine intervention. Battle was joined as the mysterious assailant easily dodged all the blows and made his escape via the unguarded front entrance, not before telling Jon to discuss matters with the nobility, up in arms and stalking the Spire.

After making sure that Earl was not going to die and cuffing the Kasballica members, an investigation of the truck revealed a secret compartment hiding art and weaponry of xeno origins. Mira contacted the Tricorn who sends a team to clean up the area while Arbites and protectorate officers are redirected to lock down the hive block.
