Fortunately, Lyra’s newfound reputation as a tough-as-nails brawler had some weight with Loxx, who decided to ride in the van accompanied by only a single close bodyguard.

During the ride back, it appears that Gravel the reporter has spurred some wild theories concerning the current case, mostly that the Arbitrators were now working hand-in-hand with the Adeptus Mechanicus; no doubt he has filmed Grendel in the open and made non-existing connections; at least the Inquisition was not spoken of.
[20:20] <BradGM> Suddenly, the van came under attack by a quatuor inside a sedan, shooting in heavy transports traffic with grenade launcher and autogun. Jon took the wheel while Grendel, Lyra and the gangers opened fire on this new mysterious assailant. Grenades were evaded, thanks to Jon’s calculated, erratic driving before a solid plasmagun hit to the driver’s face resulted in the car losing control and falling off the roadway onto the hive habs below, exploding moments later.

[20:20] <BradGM> Suddenly, the van came under attack by a quatuor inside a sedan, shooting in heavy transports traffic with grenade launcher and autogun. Jon took the wheel while Grendel, Lyra and the gangers opened fire on this new mysterious assailant. Grenades were evaded, thanks to Jon’s calculated, erratic driving before a solid plasmagun hit to the driver’s face resulted in the car losing control and falling off the roadway onto the hive habs below, exploding moments later.
