-------------------------------------- Character History Ulrich grew up as a quiet child in a happy yet poor farming family in an even poorer village. His family was large and was the second son in his large family. Many believed him large and stupid and Ulrich did not try to dissuade them of their opinions only smiling showing a mouth full of perfectly white teeth. By the time he has reached 17 he was one of the largest men of his village and began tutoring under the local Surgeon in hopes of providing extra income for his family. By the time he had reached the age of 25 he became the local surgeon of his poor village after his tutor passed in his sleep. Ulrich Worked hard and was relatively successful helping and administering to his poor villages needs for 2 more years. Such was not to last, a Beastmen raid struck in the middle of one night. The raiding creatures fell on the village killing any in their path. Ulrich fought the Beastmen with his axe as they entered his study protecting himself but the rest of the village fared much worse. After a few hours the Beastmen crept back into the Forrest but his family along with the rest of the village where no more. With nothing of his village left he burred the dead, gathered his few possessions, and left. Ulrich worked from place to place helping those as he traveled until finally finding himself in Middenhiem where he could practice his medicine and learn more.
Ulrich met up with some like minded if very different adventurers in being 2 elves, a dwarf slayer, and a Kislevite. Together they have traveled fought horrible things, and argued. Ulrich's medical treatments have helped save the lives of several of them so far and has continued to gain more experience in the world and the arts of healing and battlefield surgery. He has also become very close to the gods Shalya and Sigmar, for who calls on for protection in times of need.
Ulrich has done work for the Temple of Shalya helping tend the sick and wounded, helped the city watch solve a disturbing case of murders and the Temple of Ulric in finding a Chaos artifact to be destroyed. Although new to the city of Middenhiem Ulrich has obtained a practicing license from the guild and a friend by the name of Dr. Wolfenburg. Ulrich became friends with the blind Ulrician Priest Father Otto but he was sadly turned into a chaos spawn, of which Ulrich deeply affected and greatly grieved for his friends ending.
