Despite the Winds of Magic being almost non-existent, Siluvaine detected strong emotions coming from the fountain’s centerpiece.
[20:19] <@BradGM> . Smashing it open revealed a screaming squeleton, rendering Aithorn deaf. Upon destruction of it, the blood-leech dissolved into goo, allowing the almost dead warriors to rest and patch their wounds.
[20:19] <@BradGM> After some searching about, another hidden door was found, one that held the tomb of Karzon Bloodspitter, and the purpose of their quest; the horned rune-marked skull of Father Otto’s vision, bound to a black chain. Securing the Artefact into the Ulrican box, the party left that Gods-Forsaken place and returned promptly to the abandoned village, more than eager to reach Middenheim.
