Fortunately, by a mix of theatricals from Edgerrin, convincing and good old fashioned bribery, the deployment information as available to consult the time the Clerk went for a walk. Browsing the lines of numbers, all signs points toward Rolf Vogt being the culprit, as he lead a company of Halberdiers, matching the dead at St-Abelard, and he returned alone from the North with an artillery train, his troops reported dead in battle or too wounded and remained in Middenheim.

His father, Ranulf, was also listed in the registry, as the former Mashall of the Countess and overseer of the fabrication of the Magnus Weapon, now stored in a warehouse in the Industrielplatz. He was replaced over the lengthy construction delays by a certain Wolfhart von Liebwitz, cousin of the Countess. Inquiring to Robert von Heizmann, the commander of the Artillery train, he confirmed that Rolf was with his troops during the return to Nuln, even to go as far to praise the man for his martial skills in defending the artillery.
01[20:13] <BradGM> . With Ulrich itching for some action, the Party went to the only tavern on Aver Island, the Barking Dog, and met Edgerrin’s Colonel friend from the Emperor Wilhelm. Exchanging a few drinks, they learned about the Magnus Weapon from the officer, an artillery piece that fires straight as a cannon, but using explosive ordinance, similar to a mortar, combining the mass lethality of the ladder with the range and precision of the former. Time is about 5PM, the sun is starting slowly to set in the horizon.
