After being shown an ancient parchment by Witch Hunter Hoffer, you were cavalierly directed toward the destroyed monastery of St- Abelard, and handed out a purse of 50 Crowns, an outrage by Ulrich who left the room to eat some meat pies- and learn useful information concerning the trek to the monastery.
[20:21] <@BradGM> . Learning from a lonesome innkeeper about numerous Beastsmen raids keeping people off the roads and a missing Outrider, the party arrived at the village of Suderberg. The place was raided numerous times, the crops all burned away, the villagers resolving to sleeping during the day and stand watch during the night. Sensing the need to help, the Party, led by Ulrich and Aithron, decided to stay and help for a night.
[20:21] <@BradGM> Setting up in the Old Timer’s barn, sharing with smome livestock, with the monastery only a few hours away, and still the whole day in front of them, some scouting was also thought of.
