Here are a few of the more Common Gods of the Old World

Sigmar

God of the Empire of Man

Sigmar Heldenhammer founded the Empire after united the 12 tribes of man and forging an alliance with the Dwarves that last to this day. He is naturally the most prominent deity worshiped across the Empire. The main temple is at the Imperial Capital of Altdorf. The church is controlled by the Grand Theogonist, seconded by two Arch-Lector.

Twin-tailed Comet (which was seen the day Sigmar was born)

Ulric

God of Winter, Battle and Wolves

An ancient God, worshiped even by Sigmar when he lived (a fact that Ulricians love to remind Sigmarites). He is quite popular in the Northern provinces. The main temple is in Middenheim. The religion head is called Ar-Ulric

Wolves-related (medallion, pelts)
His followers generally shuns crossbows and blackpowder weapons and let their beards and hair go long to better resemble Him.

Shallya

Goddess of Mercy and Healing

One of the most popular deity; everyone ends up sick sooner or later, rich or poor. She is especially popular with the peasantry and those which lives grew too hard. Shallya's clergy got a majority of women, her more devout masculine being closer to Doctors than priests. The main temple is in the City of Couronne, Bretonnia.

Morr

God of Death and Dreams

While not as popular as her Daughter Shallya, people still pay their respect to Morr, as sooner or later everyone will have to enter His domain. They maintain cemeteries across the old Worlds, called Morr's Gardens, which act as its name suggest, a flower park in a cemetery. The main temple is in the city of Luccini, Tilea.

Myrmidia

Goddess of War and Strategy


Shallya's sister, she is an important deity is Estalia, where her cult started in the City of Magritta. Her followers approach war and battle with a scientific and logical mind, making her popular with soldiers and generals alike. Needless to say Ulric and his followers' approach to warfare differs greatly and is cause of much friction, but never outright hostility or violence.

Taal and Rhya

God of Nature and the Earth

Husband and Wife, Taal is the more worshiped by woodsmen, hunters and trappers, with farmers and those who toils the soil pay homage to Rhya. The Province of Talabecland, just as the City-State of Talabheim both take their name from the River Taal, sacred to His followers. Their cult is the most predominant one in Talabecland, with the main temple located in the forest near Talabheim. Taal is Ulric's older Brother.

Verena

Goddess of Learning and Truth

Morr's wife; as He judges the dead, She judges the living. Verena is highly respected by everyone, her wisdom knowing no equal. Her temples doubles as libraries and places of learning, and most universities have a sizable chapel for worship. There is no central Temple for Verena, as each temple acts locally.

Ranald

God of Thieves, Trickery, Traders, Gamblers
Ranald was not born a God, but became one by tricking Shallya into giving him Immortality. He has no real Temples to his name (the authorities are quick to act against the cult), if only small shrines here and there in a thieves' den or a merchant guild. He is also popular by the poor segments of the population, acting as protector. Despite his criminal tendencies, he despises killing; in fact his only two "opponents" are the authorities (for obvious reasons) and violent rogues (which gives all rogues a bad name)
