History

As a lifelong inhabitant of Cyprian's Gate, Murdok was easily able to fall into the life of a pirate at an early age, now having spent over twenty years in his career. He doesn’t talk about his younger days, though, and anyone who has firsthand accounts of him back then is probably either dead or long gone on a different path. Dead, more likely.

Regardless of what exactly his past consists of, Murdok’s long time as a pirate has made him more humble about the prospect pillaging and thievery. Nowadays he’s been handling the more logistical side of operations, usually acting as an aide to the captain in charge. While he is fully capable of acting as captain, himself, he doesn’t like dealing with such responsibility, preferring to take things a little easier. And although he isn’t brutish and lustful for violence like the typical pirate may be, he still has the common love for wealth and women. There are usually plenty of other bodies on ship to deal with the violent work, anyway.

Despite spending his life in an old-age world, Murdok has managed to obtain some off-world treasures, particularly his stub revolver and shotgun. With them, he’s grown to have a particular love for marksmanship over swordplay. Another notable feature is the classy longcoat he sports, although its classiness seemed to have worn out over many years of use. Still, it has better visual appeal over the rags his shipmates often wear.
