History: Alaric’s parents where both Noble born on Fenksworld. They each came from powerful families, with wealth, power and contacts (as well as enemies) almost beyond measure. Yet, despite being born into lives of luxury and ease, they each felt the Call of Service to the Law and the Emperor. They became Arbitors, swearing to uphold the Law even when it wasn’t in their best financial and political interest.
It was in that service that they met one another. After a rather tumultuous and conflict ridden courtship, they united their families through marriage. While such actions, and starting their own family in the way of their son, slowed down their ability to work and enforce the Law, it did not diminish their zeal or desire. Unfortunately, though they rested slowed their activities, their enemies did not.
When Alaric was only 5, his parent were betrayed while in pursuit of their duties. They did not survive the betrayal. Taken in and raised by the Schola Progenium, he dedicated himself and threw himself into his studies. He learned everything he could, from politics and lore to the more martial aspects of the job to routing out every clue he could.
